Everyone knows the dangers of getting into a stranger's vehicle, especially on your own. With taxis, common sense dictates that you should only ever get into a licensed vehicle. Whatever your choice, make sure you do all things possible to make yourself safe.

This is where Guard-Me can help. Before getting into a taxi, if possible, let someone know what you're doing, but always set a Guard. Note something about the taxi like the number plate or the driver's id number.

When you get to your destination and only when you're safe, unguard. If anything does happen to you, you've:

• noted the licence plate of the vehicle
• made sure someone is contacted without you having to do anything more

And if you Guard in front of the driver - this will make them think twice.
