Guard-Me allows you to send a 'delayed' text message (which we call a 'Guard') to someone which you can cancel at any time.
If something does happen, you can be reassured knowing they will get your message at the time you specified
and act immediately.
You can activate Guard-Me at any time of the day or night,
just by sending a text message from your mobile phone to 60060.
If you're just getting into a minicab and need
a quick Guard to cover the journey you can set your Guard for as short as 5 minutes.
Alternatively if you're travelling long distances, or just
thinking ahead, you can set the Guard for up to a whopping 30 days!
Guard-Me allows you to send a message to anyone who
has a phone. Mobile users get sent a TXT; and messages sent to a landline number
are read out by the BT text-to-voice service. All
Guard-Me users can contact one
person and registered users with pre-paid 'Credits' can contact up to three people if they wish.
Your contacts will receive the message you specified and
it will appear to come from your phone, as if you had sent it yourself.
Guard-Me will only send your message if you have not Un-Guarded
by the time specified in your Guard request.
